The Tebigy Kuwwat SUE functions in accordance with the current legislation of Turkmenistan and the State programmes on environment protection.
1) Sustainable land and water management in the conditions of climate changing

Purpose of Organization:

The purposes of Tebigy Kuwwat are the following:
1) Providing the local population with ecological information
2) Introduction of modern technologies of sustainable land and water management in the rural areas
3) Rendering consulting services

Experience:

The Tebigy Kuwwat members regularly took part in projects for implementing the UN GlobalEnvironment Conventions on the reduction of risks connected with climate change; assisted in compiling the III edition of the Red DataBook of Turkmenistan; worked out a mechanism of coordination and interaction among key ministries, departments, research institutes and other organisations in resolving emergency situations; developed of informational awareness of increase in the potential of the local communities in the sphere of environment protection; established the Arhus Center of Turkmenistan(OSCE).
