International Center for Caucasus Tourism (ICCT)

ICCT is a non-governmental, non-for-profit organization, was founded   by the group of experts working in the spheres as rural tourism, environmental protection, nature conservation, vocational and adults education are. ICCT   comprehensive activities are devoted to study of sustainable tourism situation in Georgia and Caucasus as well as related destinations researches, youth involvement in environment protection campaigns, editing and publication of manuals and catalogues, etc.

Purpose of Organization:

Sustainable Rural Tourism (SRT) Development and Environment protection , Vocational and Adults Education for engagement in SRT.

Experience:

While implementing the projects devoted to poverty eradication through poor population involvement is Sustainable Rural Tourism we always take into consideration environmental policies/activities. These projects are implemented in the focal areas of the GEF , as are; Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Turkey, Bulgaria.
